ADVERT Private Tuition for all Students of Photography on the 'Sunrise Coast' of Suffolk

Sunrise Coast

If you are studying for a qualification in photography or seeking guidance in how to get the best from your camera for pleasure, business or travel photography, we may be able to help.

With over ten years of experience of teaching, we can show you how to use any make or model of camera for a wide-range of photographic applications. We can also show you how best to use your wide-angle, telephoto and macro lenses for more specialised forms of photography.

If you want to learn how to use a computer to improve the appearance of your digital images, we can also teach you how to use Adobe PhotoShop for essential image enhancement.

Our unique system of teaching allows students to receive tuition on a date or dates of their own choosing and to receive training to suit each individuals own choice of subject preference and pace of learning.

Whatever your level of ability or knowledge of photography, we can offer you a truly unique and fully personalised learning experience in one of East Anglia's most picturesque of counties.

Our exclusive range of workshops for beginners have three separate aims:

Aim 1:

IS TO TEACH YOU HOW BEST TO SET-UP YOUR CAMERA AND TO GIVE YOU A GOOD UNDERSTANDING ABOUT FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF PHOTOGRAPHY.

A good understanding of film types, file types, ISO settings, apertures, focal lengths, shutter speeds, white balance and metering systems, will allow you to determine the final quality of the image.

Aim 2:

IS TO TEACH YOU THE SECRETS OF LIGHTING & COMPOSITION

By taking you 'on-location' to one or more of our picturesque venues to suit your preferred subject, we can teach you all about the quality, colour and direction of light.

More importantly, we will teach you how to compose your image. As correct composition plays a very important part in photography, it is one of the most important skills you will learn.

Aim 3:

IS TO ADD FINISHING TOUCHES TO YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS

Finally, should you require tuition in how to use Adobe Photoshop, we can show you how best to edit, enhance, print and present your digital images for personal use, display or publication.

Agenda & Fees

Tuition periods will usually begin at our home address and will commence at around 9.00am. If you are arriving by train or travelling up the previous day, we can pick you up from Lowestoft railway station or from your hotel or B&B accommodation in Lowestoft.

Although we specialise in 'One-on-One' tuition, we are able to offer tuition for 1, 2 or 3 persons throughout the entire year.

Bookings for shared tuition must be made conjointly. Students are required to reserve a minimum of 8 hours tuition which can be taken as a single-day or two half days. Additional hours are available on request.

If you are particularly interested in natural history photography i.e. bird, plant, insect and flower photography, we recommend you visit between April and October. Landscape and general photography tuition can be taught during any month.

Where possible, you can choose your own tuition dates for any day of the week. There is no addition charge for weekend tuition.

The tuition fee is £18.00 per person per hour.

Fees include transport to and from all locations used for tuition. The cost of lunch or overnight accommodation is not included in the tuition fees but tea and coffee will be provided free of charge. Tuition fees also include usage of any loaned equipment.

N.B. We are one of the few tuition providers in the UK who offer a follow-up service which is offered free of charge to all clients after a minimum of 6 hours tuition. Our follow-up service provides on-going advice and further assistance if required.

For overnight accommodation at around £35.00 per person, we recommend you use a locally approved Guest House. To review or to book your own overnight accommodation, click here. WWW.EDINGWORTH.COM

We also supply Gift Vouchers for friends or family. Please ask for details.
