New lenses available for Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung Galaxy S3 lenses from VTEC

VTEC has brought out a new range of lenses for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone, including a super macro and a telephoto.

The new range of lenses for the Samsung smartphone have been designed to clip onto the phone with a VTEC cover, which is designed to protect the lens and the phone together. The lenses are £35 and under and include a telephoto, macro and wide angle, fish-eye, filter and microscope lens.

For more information please see the press release below.

Press release:
Compact, easy to use and simple to change, each VTEC lens come with a back cover that clips into place, and which the lens attaches to. VTEC lenses eliminate the need for a separate camera, and enhance the quality of photos taken. The VTEC cover is particularly hard-wearing and durable, making it an ideal cover to protect the phone even when there's no lens attached. The VTEC range boasts a number of different types of lens for the Galaxy S3:

CAM-1209 Aluminium Telephoto Lens: Believed to be the first 12x zoom available for a Samsung S3, this lens offers impressive zoom quality without distorting the image, and is an ideal gift for photography enthusiasts. The telephoto lens has a manual focus ring and also comes with its own tripod, which attaches to the lens to steady the phone when capturing shots. SRP £34.99, including VAT.

Wide-Angle and Macro Lens: These come as one kit, with the wide-angle screwing onto the front of the macro lens. The wide-angle lens allows more of a scene to be captured in the photograph, making the lens ideal for taking photos at close range. The macro lens is perfect for close up photography, offering great focus close up to the subject. SRP £23.99, including VAT.

Fish-Eye Lens: Offers circular 180 degree fish-eye magnification, giving effect to any image taken. This lens is great for fun, quirky shots and also gives each image a circular black border. SRP £24.99, including VAT.

CPL Filter: A new addition specifically designed for the Galaxy S3. CPL is used to reduce glare/reflections and is useful if you are looking to boost colour saturation, especially for blue skies. SRP £34.99, including VAT.

Microscope: A 20x lens specifically designed for the Galaxy S3. SRP £24.99, including VAT.

Each lens set comes with a phone cover that all lenses can attach to. The VTEC lenses are available from the VTEC website - vtec.co.uk
