Ian Short exhibition at Joe Cornish Galleries

In Joe Cornish Galleries’ coming exhibition, ‘The Glen – Autumn and Winter in Wild Cairngorm’, North Yorkshire based photographer Ian Short is showcasing his images and telling stories of his encounters with the wild inhabitants of the forests and glens of his favourite landscape, the Cairngorm National Park, Scotland.

Ian regularly makes the 300 mile journey north to his cabin in the Cairngorms. During autumn and winter last year Ian made several photographic trips into the surrounding forests and mountains and captured images of rare capercaille and crested tits, red deer and red squirrel, winter whooper swan and robin, as well as images of serene autumn woodland and snowy winter landscapes.

Ian kept a diary of his encounters and the stories of his adventures will be on display alongside his photographic images.
