Underwater camera Tweets Olympic swimming photos

L2012 Olympic underwater camera

While clashing and slightly confusing rules surrounding photography at the Olympics have left some photographers scratching their heads, one underwater camera is bringing a new perspective to the nation.

The underwater L2012 Pool Camera has been lying in wait for passing Olympic swimmers in the Aquatic Centre of the London 2012 Games.

With some restrictions on photography at the event, this camera offers regular fans of the swimming competitions a chance to get a new perspective on the races by taking underwater pictures of the competing athletes.

Not only does the camera provide interesting compositions and sharp images, but it also Tweets humorous messages alongside those images:

‘My last look at @michaelphelps I’ll miss him. Hey, I'll miss all these guys. It’s lonely down here. #London2012’
