In keeping with our current portrait themed tip week, this image demonstrates our tips prefectly; the angle is different, bringing the focus down to the model's level and so the contours of the body lead off into the distance in the depth of field. The direct eye contact draws the viewer into the picture and holds their attention.

The colours are rich and the lighting is just right to highlight the lines of the face.

Thank you for this guys, really appreciate your feedback and the "award"....made my day! Glad you could see what I was trying to acheive. The light was simple window light on a reasonably overcast day, coming from the right. Window was quite big and Lizzy (Eden) was a complete star, making the eye contact the most important part of the photo. Thanks again!
