Olympus

Olympus won EISA awards in key camera categories this year.

The company won EISA awards for Olympus TOUGH, TG-1 and OM-D in the ‘All Weather and Compact System Camera’ categories.

The extra-wide aperture TOUGH TG-1 won the award for ‘European All Weather Camera’ 2012-2013 while the OM-D, with its electronic viewfinder system, took the prize in the ‘European Compact System Camera’ 2012-2013 section.

The EISA jury said, “The Olympus TG-1 is an outstanding outdoor camera, the 12-Megapixel backlit CMOS sensor, together with the TruePic VI processor and fast 25-100mm f/2-4.9 zoom lens, delivered excellent-quality pictures and low levels of noise."
