Minox announce new action camera

Minox have announced the Minox ACX 100 HD Action Cam, intended for action and extreme sports.

The camera has a maximum full HD video resolution of 1080p, a 135 degree super wide-angle lens as well as a memory capacity of up to 32GB. It comes with a multi-optional mounting kit and has a compact, rugged and watertight body.

The Minox ACX 100 HD Action Cam boasts automatic exposure control and white balance, and with the rotating camera module, horizontal shots are allegedly always captured even in unusual mounting positions and camera settings. The ACX 100 can be separated from the adapter at any time and reconnected again for shooting. This means that the camera can be safely kept in a jacket or trouser pocket when not in use. Every video shoot is recorded with sound.

The SDHC memory card included in the delivery provides for a storage volume for 45 minutes of full HD recording. It is also possible to use memory cards with up to 32GB.

The Minox ACX 100 has a rechargeable and replaceable battery. This offers the user the advantage of being able to insert another battery to continue the recording if low temperatures reduce the capacity of the one initially installed.

The scope of delivery of the ACX 100 includes an adapter with fixing strap and mounting pad for cycling and skiing helmets, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a 4GB SDHC memory card as well as a USB cable.
