PM's July Geocaching coordinates revealed

prize

The July issue of Photography Monthly is now on newsstands and we can finally reveal the coordinates of the location where our man in the field, Julian Elliott, has hidden our Golden Ticket for this month's Geocaching feature.

The GPS coordinates are N 55° 28.044’, W 003° 21.505’. Simply plug these into your GPS unit or smart phone and you're on your way.

We've also included some clues (and inadvertantly their answers!) in the feature on page18 of Jul's edition of PM to help you along your way.

For regular PM readers, this month's Geocaching launch is an expansion of The Great British Landscape series we've been running in the magazine since September, which celebrates the UK's stunning panoramas.

Each month we will be hiding a Golden Ticket (see above) in one of these celebrated locations. We will then publish coordinates of its location - as we've done here - and invite all of you to get out with your GPS units and cameras to find the tickets.

If you find the ticket first we have a range of great prizes to give away - this month a Bushnell BackTrack D-TOUR, along with eight runner-up prizes for those who gave our geocaching competition and good try but didn't quite manage the top prize, they include: a 5mm Aquapac waterproof SLR case, 77mm Tiffen UV protector filter, a Verbatim Micro USB drive and an Optrix HD Sport Mount to transform your iPhone 4, 4s or iPod Touch into an action sports cam!.

CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE

To claim your prize you will need to send PM Features Editor Lorna Dockerill (lorna.dockerill@archant.co.uk) a picture of yourself in the location holding the Golden Ticket (a simple one-handed self-portrait is fine). What's more, we will also need three images taken on your journey there, which we will publish in the subsequent issue.

Good luck!
