London 2012 Olympic Getty Gallery

Getty will be showcasing their own gallery of images from the 2012 London Olympic Games this year.

The Getty Gallery is based in Westfield Shopping Centre and will be showcasing Olympic images from July through to September as part of the national celebrations.

Panasonic got behind the idea, offering visitors to the Getty Gallery the chance to interact with their showcase of Smart VIERA TVs showing live London 2012 Olympic content, both in 2D and 3D, being uploaded from all Olympic venues.

Leading sports photographers, such as Dean Mouhtaropoulos, who has worked for Getty for nine years, will be uploading their exclusive images of the emotion and celebrations that occur throughout the Olympic Games, straight to the Gallery.

Additionally, Panasonic will be posting ‘Lumix G Photos of the Day’ on Panasonic’s homepage throughout the Olympic Games. From the homepage visitors will also be able to link to the Lumix Lifestyle page to view the full Panasonic London 2012 photo gallery.
