Five photographers to win workshop with David Noton PLUS £300 of Giotto's kit
Giotto’s tripods has teamed up with award winning travel and landscape photographer David Noton to offer five photographers the chance of a lifetime to shoot ‘Dusk to Dawn’ on a private bespoke workshop on the Jurassic Coast.
Based at Springfield Country Hotel & Spa, Wareham, the workshop will run over two days and include ‘on location’ shoots for both dusk and dawn – with personal mentoring from David throughout the course.
Each of the five winners will enjoy a place on this exclusive two day workshop, including hotel accommodation, food and personal tuition. In addition, each winner will receive their very own Giotto’s tripod kit, worth £300, to use on the workshop – and to take home with them.
Mark Hoskins, Senior Brand Manager said: "Tripods are an essential element for most photography – and in David’s work particularly we see how his Giotto’s is a necessary tool for him to achieve anything from total sharpness, to creative movement in his stunning images.
"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for five lucky photographers to spend time on location with David in an area of outstanding natural beauty and benefit - on location - from his years’ of experience travelling the world taking award winning images.’

What the judges are looking for…
Images will be shortlisted by the Giotto’s team and David Noton will then select the five winning photographers. Images will be judged on a number of criteria including imagination, overall appeal, technical expertise, composition, use of light and creativity.
To tie with the Dusk till Dawn theme – the judges are looking for images that demonstrate ‘light’ at any point during the 24 hour cycle. This can be your own interpretation – they don’t have to be traditional landscapes – be creative!
Top tip: the judges will be looking for creative, technically competent photography, rather than manipulation skills, so don’t go overboard in post processing – the team is looking for beautiful natural light images.
