It's Finders Keepers at this exhibition
It will be a case of losers weepers if you miss this new exhibition, Finders Keepers, showing at the Michael Hoppen Gallery.
The Gallery was the first commercial photographic gallery to open in London 20 years ago and this exhibition showcases 130 photographs from the extensive private collection.
The images are exhibited to tell a narrative of their historical relevance from the 19th century images of age-old boxing matches and post-war moments, to the modern day fashion.
The exhibition will run from 12 December 2012 to 31 January 2013. For more information please read the press release below from the Michael Hoppen Gallery.
Finders Keepers offers a unique journey through hundreds of captivating photographs, full of beautiful and bizarre stories that reflect Hoppen’s personal interests and passions, and his extremely focused appreciation of the image. The show will feature noted British photographers such as Emil Otto Hoppé, Daniel Farson, Graham Smith, Colin Jones, Chris Killip, Charles Clifford, Roger Mayne, John Deakin, Thomas Annan, Thomas Rodger, Charles Jones and Bert Hardy.
