Pet portrait winner announced

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who entered the pet portraits competition, standards were very high and it was difficult for our judge Scott Winchester to choose the winning image. But he managed it!

The winning image is Moby by tartufe. Scott said that he chose this photo as the winning images because it was a great action shot that was also technically well put together; he said the exposure was good and the black coat of the dog still retained a lot of detail. He also liked the light captured in the dog’s eyes.

Thank you to everyone who entered and well done to our winner who will be receiving a copy of the book, The Spirit of the Dog, for their efforts.
