New Ego waterproof casing from Liquid Image

Users of the get-up-and-go Ego WiFi HD sports action camera can now benefit from a new, waterproof casing

The new waterproof case, produced by Liquid Imaging, should enable users to take the Ego camera to depths of around 40m/130ft, to capture underwater footage when surfing, snorkelling or scuba diving. Its compact design provides a snug fit for the Ego camera and the lightweight housing can be sealed with a fold-over clip offering maximum water protection.

There are two buttons on the top of the housing, allowing the user to switch between video or still modes. The adjustable, flat adhesive mount that comes with the Ego camera connects directly to the base of the waterproof housing, creating a number of mounting options. The waterproof case boasts small (8cm x 5cm x 4.5cm) dimensions adding to the Ego camera’s versatility.

The underwater housing will be available for purchase from November 2012 with an RRP of £39.99.
