Nikon adds a stylish new duo to the COOLPIX line-up
Nikon today boosts its COOLPIX Style (S) range with two new models that raise the bar for colourful style and sophistication in a slim body. The duo consists of the ultra-thin COOLPIX S4150 with smart touch operation, and the powerful and portable 16 megapixel COOLPIX S6150 compact shooter with 7x zoom lens.

There’s no need to choose between brains and looks with the COOLPIX S4150. This clever 14 megapixel camera comes in five stunning colours, including red and purple, and at 0.8 inches thin and a featherweight 128g you’ll hardly know it’s there. Yet when you need to capture life’s memorable moments, it is ready in an instant, with One-Touch HD (720p) recording and 5x optical zoom that gets you close to the action whether you’re at a sporting event, a concert or a graduation ceremony.
The intuitive 7.5 cm (3 in.) high resolution 460K dot touch control LCD screen makes operation easy. In shooting mode, Touch Shutter lets you choose a focus point simply by touching any part of the frame. The camera will automatically set the correct focus and exposure for the touched item. In Playback mode, touch control makes reviewing and editing your photos fun, with features such as Paint function and Slide Show.
Packaging up great technology with ease of use, the COOLPIX S4150 combines a wide-angle 5x zoom NIKKOR lens with a 14 megapixel CCD image sensor to ensure outstandingly detailed shots that look stunning even when enlarged. Four advanced blur-reduction functions minimize the effects of subject movement, low light and camera shake. Images can be edited in-camera effortlessly, with easy-to-use filter effects such as Selective Color, which converts your image to monochrome then adds a splash of color to an area of your choice, and Cross Screen, that adds a starry effect to bright objects.

For those who want to get even closer to the action, the COOLPIX S6150 has advanced features that make it stand out from the crowd. It packs a wide-angle 7x zoom NIKKOR lens that boasts a 28-196mm optical zoom, and a 16 megapixel image sensor that delivers photos so pin-sharp that even poster-sized enlargements look sensational.
Getting the shot that you want could not be easier. Point the camera at your subject, and touch the 7.5 cm (3 in.) high resolution 460k dot touch screen to adjust and focus your image. For memories that demand more than an image, a dedicated movie-record button makes it easy to instantly switch to filming the action. The touchscreen also lets you scroll through your images and select and edit any that you want to get creative with. The COOLPIX S6150 includes in-camera Picture Editing, so you have access to Nikon technologies like Quick Retouch, Active D-Lighting, Soft Focus, and many others.
