New LomoKino will create Lomo movies
Lomography has unveiled its first camera that allows users to create a movie from their Lomo pictures.
The LomoKino camera allows users to create Lomo movies using any kind of 35mm film. To use the LomoKino, ‘Lomographers’ need only wind the crank on the side of the box-like camera to capture 144 shots on one roll of 35mm film, which then can be used to make a Lomo movie lasting between 36 and 48 seconds.
Slide film, colour negative, redscale or black & white film can all be used. After developing the film, users can spool it into the specially developed LomoKinoScope and watch their Lomo pictures moving over and over again.
The LomoKino comes in a package either on its own or with the LomoKinoScope, one film canister and a book.
The LomoKino is priced £65.
Other details of the LomoKino include a 25mm lens, continuous aperture of f/5.6-f/11 and shutter speed of 1/100sec.
