Sports Photography School Launched by Award Winning Pro Mark Pain

Diving by Mark Pain

Top sports photographer Mark Pain is today launching the first school dedicated to sports photography in the UK.

Offering specialist individual tuition to keen amateurs, the award winning photographer Mark Pain will run a full day’s course at various top UK sporting events, uniquely giving the photographers an opportunity to shoot with full pro accreditation.

Kicking off the school in front of a full house of 70 to 80,000 people at Twickenham, the home of English Rugby, Mark is offering photographers the opportunity to be pitch-side for the Aviva Premiership London Double Header on 4th September 2010, featuring London Irish, Premiership Finalists in 2009, and last year’s beaten Finalists Saracens. This match will be followed by another great London derby, Harlequins v Wasps, also part of the schools’ first event.

Mark will be giving clients access to the best sporting events, working with key sporting bodies and venues to provide a taste of professional photography life.

By putting clients in front of massive crowds to capture a moment, the course will offer a genuine insight to the world of professional sports photography. Mark will work on a one to one basis during the events with the photographers.

The courses will cover all aspects of photography for the keen amateur;

• Preparing for the event
• Action photography basics
• Choosing the right lens
• Capturing the moment
• Technical know-how
• Post-production and editing
