World Cup Image Special 2

David James - England vs Algeria

Mail on Sunday photographer Mark Pain is in South Africa capturing the highs and lows of the World Cup. He's sending us images as he takes them and we're posting them online. For this story we have more on England vs Algeria.

Images

Pic 1: David James yells at his defenders as Algeria have a free kick on the edge of the box

Pic 2: Fabio Capello looks glum as do the entire England squad and coaching staff behind him.

Pic 3: Princes Harry and William watched on and are always of interest to The Mail On Sunday. V v dark u where they were sitting . This was shot at 2000 Asa 400th Sec @ F4 on a NIkon 400 AF VR F2.8 with a 1.4 converter attached.Wayne Rooney is frustrated again as he loses his balance when challenged.

Pic 4: Frank Lampard had a quiet night. As England played so badly there were very few decent action pictures to be had so I had to send this action shot - a far bigger pull than I would normally send. Luckily the Nikon D3s is fantastic and can handle it.

Pic 5: Wayne Rooney is frustrated again as he loses his balance when challenged.

Pic 6: A glum Fabio as he realises his team have failed again.
