Manfrotto

Manfrotto is very proud to announce the launch of the new, improved Manfrotto School of Excellence, a free resource for anyone who wants to learn more about photography. The School will feature web, video and editorial tutorials and live chat with some of the world’s best photographers, plus regular blog posts and photography features.

The School will offer free tutorials from beginner to advanced level from photographers Bill Frakes, Roberto Bigano, Joe McNally, Ami Elsius, Drew Gardner, Joe McNally, Marc de Tollenaere, Kristoff Ramon, David Duchemin, Jim Oltersdorf and Cliff Guy. Tutorial topics will include video and photographic equipment, photography techniques, use of light and post-production processing. Live chat will even enable students to ask tutors direct questions while a lesson is in progress.

Commenting, Greg Cooney, Managing Director of Manfrotto Distribution, said: “It is with a real sense of pride that we launch the new Manfrotto School of Excellence. We want it to be a genuinely valuable resource for the photographic community and to encourage interest from all corners. We have a wealth of talent among our contributors and tutors, and I hope the public make full use of so much expertise collected in one place.”

The launch of the Manfrotto School of Excellence also marks an increased focus for Manfrotto in engaging online with the photographic community. As well as the tutorials there will be news updates, guest blog posts, competitions, case studies and much more, plus the chance to join the conversation at Manfrotto’s official Twitter feed, @manfrotto_tweet.

Marco Tortato, Manfrotto Distribution’s Education and Testimonials Manager, Imaging said, “It’s an exciting time to be online at the moment, and we wanted to build something that would be genuinely best-of-breed and valuable to photo fans. I’m very keen that the new Manfrotto School of Excellence, and all our new online initiatives, mark the beginning of a fascinating conversation with our customers and fans of photography.”
