Introducing the Pro Runner™ AW Series. If you’re after a compact yet practical and flexible backpack or roller backpack to accommodate your camera, tripod, accessories, plus a few personal items, this is the series for you!

The feature filled Pro Runner AW™ Series consists of the 300, 350, x350 and x450 backpacks. This series incorporates Pro Runner 300 AW which is an upgraded version of the multi award winning Mini-Trekker AW - one of Lowepro’s most successful bags of all time. The Pro Runner 300 AW continues to provide a streamlined carrying solution and compact design to photojournalists, professional photographers and serious enthusiasts, but with every feature of the Mini Trekker developed further and at the highest standard possible.

This series includes two larger rolling models, the x350 and x450. Both include a spring loaded trolley handle as well as smooth operating wheels (which are replaceable). What makes these backpacks more versatile is that they come with an inventive harness system which quickly converts the roller to a backpack with two easy attachments. The larger models also include padded storage for up to a 17” laptop and the largest two include a checkpoint-friendly laptop sleeve.
The Pro Runner™ AW Series will store a DSLR with attached lens from a 70-200mm f/2.8 plus 3-4 lenses or flash and accessories to a pro DSLR with attached 300mm lens, three to four extra lenses or accessories.

Protective features keep these camera backpacks safeguarded from the elements. Lowepro’s patented, built-in All Weather AW Cover™ protects the backpack and tucks away when not in use while rainflap lids cover all the zips and offer protection for gear.

For added comfort and support, the Pro Runner™ AW Series have been developed with a padded mesh backpad offering superior lumbar support and which also helps to wick away moisture. The adjustable, padded shoulder straps provide a customised fit and keep weight evenly balanced while moving from location to location. There’s also a tucked-away waiststrap/belt that offers stability and helps minimise movement.

The backpacks comes complete with side compression straps with quick-release buckles providing extra security on the main camera compartment, they also compress the pack when a photographer needs to downsize. As with many Lowepro bags and backpacks, the Pro Runner AW’s come with a Hideaway Tripod Mount™ system; SlipLock™ attachment loops; multiple storage pockets and memory card pockets.

The Pro Runner™ AW Series will be available in March 2010 in Black and the Pine Green/Black will be available in the summer.
