Celebrity Art Auction in aid of Teens Unite
An exclusive celebrity art auction is to be held at Embassy London on 6th April 2010. The host, Legende Celebrity Art, have organised the event to raise money for Teens Unite, a teenage cancer charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people with life limiting illnesses that was founded by fashion designer Karen Millen.
This high profile event promises to be a star studded-affair with celebrity guests, matched by the highly desirable photographs of universal stars such as Audrey Hepburn, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Brigitte Bardot, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Faye Dunaway, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Paul Newman and Marilyn Monroe, that will be auctioned. OK magazine will be there to capture all the evenings’ action.
TV presenter and entrepreneur Dr David Bull will introduce the event which begins at 7pm and one of the nation’s best loved media icons, DJ and TV Presenter Mike Read, will perform a ‘live’ auction of 10 pieces. There will also be a silent auction for another 15 items.
The auction lots are limited edition signed pieces with work from world renowned photographers such as Terry O’Neill, Douglas Kirkland, Gered Mankowitz, John Wright and Danny Clifford. Some of the photographs are previously unseen, and so will be much sought after by art collectors, and promise to be hugely popular at the event. There are also pieces of art from sculptor artists Laura Lian, Debra Franses Bean and the legendary Salvador Dali.
During the evening guests will be entertained by one of the world’s most famous Marilyn Monroe impersonators, Suzie Kennedy and the world class Ricky Lopez Ratpack Show.
