May's design challenge winner announced

Ancient France

Congratulations to Fokusstudios whose interpretation of the supplied image ‘Ancient France’ (seen above) has been chosen as the winning image in May's design challenge competition.

Fokusstudios has created a beautifully detailed image with a clear and well presented theme. The detail and elements added to the original image shows a high skill level within Photoshop and great creativity.

Fokusstudios wins a copy of PhotoTools 2 from On One Software worth £159.99. PhotoTools 2 is the fastest way to add a professional look to your photos in Photoshop. You get hundreds of professional-grade photographic effects designed by Jack Davis and onOne Software, all wrapped up in an easy-to-use Photoshop plug-in. This is on its way now.

Again, there were a number of brilliant entries this month which made judging very hard indeed. There were a number of entries that were worthy of winning and we really did have to spend some time thinking about this one. It was great to see so many well thought out and well presented entries this month, it’s just a shame we couldn’t pick multiple winners.

If you’d like to show off your digital imaging skills and have the chance to win yourself a copy of PhotoTools 2, then you should take a look at our next design challenge, which starts today.

This month we're testing your image correction skills. For more information about how to enter this month’s challenge click here.
