British Wildlife Photography Awards
The British Wildlife Photography Awards opens on 2 April.
Aimed at both enthusiast and professional UK photographers, there are seven main categories and two special awards for young people.
The prize fund is £10,000 with the overall winner taking a cash prize of £5,000. The images that receive judges’ commendations will form part of a series of nationwide exhibitions.
The run of exhibitions will launch at Hoopers Gallery, Clerkenwell, London from 24 September and tour several locations around the UK.
The competition closing date is 31 July. Entrants can submit entries online or through the post.

Prizes:
- British Wildlife Photographer - £5,000
- Young British Wildlife Photographer (under 17) - £500
- School and Youth Group, British Wildlife Photography Award (under 17) - £1,000
