Print competition winner announced

Les Forrester

A big thank you to all readers that submitted prints. The standard was incredibly high and we enjoyed greatly going through the entries.

The winner, Les Forrester, had this to say:

"On purchasing a new Canon 50D I was also sent a copy of December's Photography Monthly and while reading the mag noticed the competition to win a R2880 and a day at Epson's academy.

This is the first competition I have entered and to win this superb prize and the day at Epson is terrific. Over the past few months I have been trying to improve my mono images and winning this competition has given me a great confidence boost and I am sure the prizes will help further."

The printer is capable of producing A3+ prints in minutes. It uses eight UltraChrome K3 with vivid Magenta inks for high-quality photos with archival qualities. The three black inks ensure fantastic mono results.

At Epson's Print Academy you can learn how to harness the impressive printing power of the R2880 to produce superb prints of your photos. For more information please visit: epson.co.uk/printacademy
