Borth-y-Gest

One mile south of Porthmadog lies the attractive harbour village of Borth-y-Gest. Following the coastal path to the south-west will bring you to numerous sandy little coves. This is a great place to amble lazily and see what catches your photographic eye. For early birds, the estuary and Rhinog mountains make a good backdrop at sunrise. (Picture by Dave Newbould)

I used to spend every holiday here when I was young...I must have walked up and down that stretch of beach thousands of times..your picture has reminded me of nice memories...well done on the photo
