The Pinnacles
At the start of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, the Pinnacles and Old Harry Rocks are dramatic chalk sea stacks at the entrance to Poole harbour. Choice of composition is limited by the sheer cliffs but sunrise is undoubtedly the time to be at Handfast Point – especially in winter when warm sunlight illuminates the stacks.
