Salisbury Plain

This chalk downland is an ideal location to explore by car. This wide open landscape of rolling arable farmland is perfect for picking out landscape details such as patterns, isolated barns and lone trees. The landscape here changes dramatically with the seasons and can be fruitful at any time, though especially from late spring to late summer. (Picture by Guy Edwardes)
