Hurst Spit
Hurst is a shingle spit that stretches far out into the Solent. Its location often results in choppy water for atmospheric seascapes and there’s a castle, lighthouse and some interesting coastal defences nearby. The Spit can be shot at sunrise and sunset all year round, but be prepared for choppy conditions if you visit during winter. (Picture by Adam Burton)
