Newark Priory

Although located on private land and therefore inaccessible, the ruins of Newark Priory provide a useful focal point along this stretch of the River Wey near Pyrford. The lighting tends to be best at dawn, when there’s also the chance to capture mist rising from the surface of the river. For the best view take the riverside path towards Newark Lock. From here there’s often a nice reflection of the ruins. (Picture by Guy Edwardes)

Thats a great shot of the priory , because its not all that exciting when you actually visit it, unless i havent adventured far enough, mind you the area was closed for about a year with foot and mouth ristrictions.

Yes this is a good location and very close to where I live. I have a nice shot on my website that I took a few years ago (its at http://www.seeingthelight.co.uk/photo_3066280.html)
I am planning to do a shot at different times of the year to represent the seasons.
