When Photography Monthly learnt of the GA140M fleece from Gitzo, we were bowled over by how well thought-out it was. Having been developed with the support of professional photographers, the jacket is made from Teflon-treated nylon, Cordura, Ecodry and Zero Wind membrane, making the jacket windproof, highly breathable and highly durable. There’s a set of large external pockets, two of which have extractable padding and are adjustable in size thanks to two side zippers that can change the dimensions to accommodate lenses or torches.
There’s also a double pocket on the back of the jacket, which can be used for several items including a small tripod or a bottle of water. Add to that a whole set of inner pockets for valuables, business cards and pens. The shoulders and elbows are padded and there is a snap hook and several loops — everything you could want from a jacket.
