Picture The Difference
At Picture the Difference, we have our own image of change. We’re working hard towards this image, using our creative resources to generate vital funds to help the world’s most forward thinking charities to make real change to the lives of many people caught in the trap of poverty.
We’re also trying to create a change in the ethics of business by cultivating an environment of giving, and the helping of others.
We begin our mission with photography, possibly the most powerful medium when it comes to fuelling the emotions of others. Our quest is to search out the best and most creative images of change. It’s a versatile subject and our challenge to you is surprise us, think outside of the box, and come up with some incredible and creative shots.
In return for your entries (and the small entry fee) you get the chance to win some impressive prizes; being exhibited in London, being published in our competition book, or to embark on the trip of a lifetime to Uganda. There you will spark the creative instincts of disadvantaged children through photography workshops, and also have the opportunity to see the incredible mountain gorillas in their natural habit with a 6 day ‘On the go’ tour.
Our judging panel consists of some of the most celebrated figures in the world of photography, and by entering our competition your pictures will be displayed in our stunning online gallery, gaining the audience of some impressive and influential people.
For every entry to the competition we will donate 50% of the entry fee to ActionAid to help them to combat some of the world’s most challenging issues.
